The Disadvantages Of Making (account) Your Own YouTube Video

By Chas. McDuffie

Are you interested in making your own videos to upload to YouTube? While a large number of YouTube members do so, you may want to seriously examine your decision before actually making it. As nice as sharing your videos with the rest of the community can be, there are some disadvantages associated with it. A few of the most popular ones are briefly discussed below.

Perhaps one of the biggest disadvantages to making your own YouTube video, is that you don’t actually know who’ll end up watching it. Many YouTube video submitters don’t realize that anyone can watch their videos. YouTube gives internet users, even those who don’t bother to register for a free account, the ability to watch videos on their website. Yes, the good news is that your video may be viewed by thousands of people, but do you really want that many people to see it? That’s a question you definitely want to ask yourself before uploading your first video.

One of the reasons why it’s advised that you determine ahead of time, whether or not you really want to share your video with the rest of the world, is because after you’ve done it, it might be too late. YouTube allows video submitters to pull their videos off the site, should they change their minds about having a particular video posted.

While this is good and the removal happens right away, it may already be too late. A large number of internet users are able to copy and/or save videos that they find online, yes including YouTube videos. Should your video fall into the wrong hands, it may never really disappear, you may find it posted on another website.

Another disadvantage to making your own YouTube video, is that strangers essentially get to know you. The amount of information they find out about you, depends on the kind of video you submit. For instance, a stranger watching your video may be able to learn more about you if you’ve posted a vlog, rather than a comedy skit that you made with your friends.

That’s why you should not only think about if you want to post your video on YouTube, but you should also consider your safety. Alway keep your safety in mind, such as not divulging too much personal information about yourself, is a great way for you to enjoy YouTube without any dangers.

As you probably know, you need to have a few items to be able to upload your video to the website. If you’re planning on making a video just for YouTube, you’ll need to have a video recording device. The good news is that there are a number of devices that can be used, including camcorders, cell phones, and webcams.

You should also have movie editing software installed on your computer, as it’ll enable you to review (or even edit) your YouTube video before posting it. If you have an older computer, you may need to purchase a movie editing software program, but many new computers come with these types of programs already installed in them.

Although it may seem like there are a large number of disadvantages to making and sharing your video on YouTube, there are actually a number of benefits to doing so as well. One of those benefits is that it’s easy to do. Once you have your video installed on your computer and edited, if you wish to do so, the uploading process is very simple. In fact, YouTube explains the uploading process in an easy step-by-step way. Even if you don’t have a lot of experience with using computers, you should be able to upload your video to YouTube.

If you still would like to upload your video to YouTube, after carefully thinking about your decision to do so, you’ll need to register for a free account. This account will not only enable you to share your videos with the entire community, but it’ll also allow you to rate the videos you watch, or even have discussions with other members.

YouTube: Why Is It So Popular?

By Chas. McDuffie

Do you enjoy using the internet as a source of entertainment? If so, there’s a good chance that you’ve heard about YouTube. In fact, you may even be an active member of this community, as millions of internet users already are.

With so many members and site visitors, there are many individuals who wonder what exactly is it about YouTube that makes it so popular. If you’re one of those individuals, you’ll want to read on to discover why.

Perhaps the greatest reason why it’s so popular, is because of what you can accomplish on the website. For instance, if you’re looking for entertainment you can choose from an unlimited number of videos, many of which you’re sure to love.

If you want to do more than just watch these videos, you can even make your own. YouTube allows all registered members to post an unlimited number of videos on their website. Whether you want to create a vlog, a comedy skit or an educational video, you can do it.

Another reason why YouTube is so popular, is because it’s free to use. Any internet user can simply visit the website and start viewing videos. Although you’re advised to register for a free account, one isn’t required to simply watch the videos.

However, if you’d like to rate a particular video, leave comments or upload your own video(s) to YouTube, you’ll need to register for an account before you can start. As previously mentioned, registering for a YouTube account is indeed free, and it’ll only take a few minutes to complete.

When it comes to uploading a video, it’s relatively easy to do. That’s another reason why YouTube is so popular. Even those with a minimal amount of computer experience can make and share their video(s).

All you’ll need is a video recording device, such as a cell phone with video recording capabilities, a camcorder, or a webcam. Most computers already have a movie editing software program installed, but you’ll only need to use this movie editing software if you’d like to edit your video before sharing it with the YouTube community. When it comes time to upload your video, you just need to follow YouTube’s uploading instructions, and your videos should soon be available for viewing shortly.

As for watching videos on YouTube, it’s been stated that you have an unlimited number of YouTube videos to choose from. No matter what you’re into whether it’s romance, comedy, educational pieces or even tickling female feet or their soles, you should be able to find it on YouTube.

The more popular videos include vlogs and comedy skits. Finding these type of videos to watch is pretty easy. You can simply browse through all of their videos, or you can perform a search to find something in particular such as “tickling female soles or feet”.

If you have yet to visit YouTube, you’re urged to do so as quickly as possible. Whether you want to merely watch videos and/or make your own, you can accomplish this. Once you arrive there, you’ll like what you see. After all, YouTube has millions of visitors; therefore, they must be doing something right.

Work at Home Scams (Part One)

By Chas. McDuffie

If you need to make money from home, you’ve no doubt starting looking for work at home opportunities. Every woman who’s ever wanted to become a work at home mom, has traveled down the same path. Unfortunately, that path is littered with scams and traps to snatch money and time from honest women looking to make money from home. With a little common sense and extra research, you can surely find legitimate work at home opportunities.

The first step is to search for jobs in the right places. Don’t simply click on ads to find work. Try to find helpful groups of work at home moms, who have successful work at home jobs to assist you in your search. You can try searching on message boards, or finding e-mail groups for ideas about where to start your work at home job search. Many of these women can give you insight into which work at home opportunities are actually worth your time.

Keep in mind that there are no real ways to get rich quick on the internet or by working at home. The only people who get rich are those who are scamming others. Never believe any ad or employer who claims that you’ll get rich instantly.

There are a few red flags to look for when you’re searching for internet jobs. You should never have to pay for any work or to be put on a job lists. There are plenty of free listings available that can provide tons of opportunities. Companies that want to charge you for a list of jobs, are merely trying to get your money. These lists are often filled with dead-end leads, and/or contain other companies that just want to take your money. Many of these work at home scams, will ask you to pay a start-up (or registration) fee to (as they put it) cover the cost of the supposedly necessary training. A legitimate job will NEVER require you to pay them anything.

Another warning sign to look out for, is if the ad or website tells you to act now or immediately. You should always do your research before joining any company, and never feel pressured to make a decision right away. Many websites indicate their offer will expire on a particular date or time. But if you visit that website again the following day, you’ll notice that same ad or offer says the opportunity will expire on that day. It’s just a psychological ploy to get you to take action before you change your mind. That’s all it is.

If you are confused about a particular company or opportunity, Visit the Better Business Bureau website, and do some research on it. The BBB has files on all businesses that have had complaints filed against them. You can see what other people have to say about a particular company, and be steered away from scams.

There are some scams that have been around for years that should be avoided at all costs. These business scams have unfortunately, been successful for the scammers, so they’ll continue taking money from honest, hard-working people as long as they can continue getting away with it. If you see an offer for any of the following types of jobs, run the other way as fast as you possibly can.

Envelope stuffing is a common scam, although it’s being seen less and less these days. These jobs are normally listed as mail service jobs, and then you’re asked to pay for a start up kit. After you receive a start up kit, you’re given instructions to place your own work at home opportunity ads. You’re basically just selling the same start up kit to other people that you purchased, and becoming a scammer yourself.

Craft assembly is another type of scam that can take many forms. Typically, you receive a set of crafts to complete with instructions. You pay for the set, and then are told you’ll be reimbursed for the kits and also paid for their assembly. After working hard at assembling the kits and returning them, you’ll be told that your work isn’t up to their quality standards — whatever that is. You’ll then be out of the cost of the kits, and they’ll still sell your crafts anyway to make money on.

There are legitimate jobs out there for you, but you have to do some research on the opportunities first. With a little time and careful analysis, you can find a work at home job that’ll be rewarding and of course, scam free.
